Can a manager be scheduled on a project?

How to schedule managers on a project.

Manager profiles can't be scheduled directly on a project; only employee profiles can be scheduled. If you need to schedule a manager however, you have a few different options:

1. Create an employee profile:
   You can create an employee profile for the manager, this as an employee or an independent contractor. Assign the appropriate contract type. Once the employee profile has been created, you will be able to use this profile to schedule the manager. Do note, for employees contracts and wages might be processed according to your settings, while an independent employee profile can be excluded. 2. Use the "External name" option:
   If the managers only needs to appear on the schedule without them needing the project information in the CrewPlanner app and when no further formalities are required, you can add their name to the schedule by using the "External name" option. For more information, click here.
