Introduction
The Quick Planner offers you the possibility to view the specified shift availability of the employees in a list view. With this overview you also immediately have the opportunity to schedule an employee. In addition, you are always aware of the availabilities your employees have submitted, as this page is reloaded every 10 seconds and you are notified at the top of the page of new arrivals.
With the Quick Planner, you as a manager can respond quickly as soon as an employee indicates his availability. Fill shifts faster and easier with the help of this article.
Where to find the Quick planner
On the AGENDA page, if your employees have entered their availabilities, you will find a light yellow bar under the calendar overview. This bar shows the total number of availabilities and depends on the selection you make in the calendar.
In addition, if you select a day, this field will show who submitted which availability. If you select a week, this field shows which employees are available using the colour codes green and red. This gives you a good overview at a glance.

How to navigate to the Quick planner page
How do you quickly get started scheduling these employees? By selecting the availability bar under the calendar.

This will take you to the Quick planner page, where you will find all the information on the availability of the employees.

How to consult the Quick planner page
Not only does this page provide you with a list of those employees who have indicated their availability, but you also have other features at your disposal on this page. These are the different sections:

List overview: the list consists of 9 columns, with the following information: employee, project, company (number of times worked for them), date, time, department, function (number of times worked), given at and preference. If you select the name of an employee, the project or the company, you will be directed to the detail pages concerned.

Export: At the top of the filters you have the option of exporting a list of information according to your selected filters and any additions. If you select this option, a pop-up will open in which you can still add or remove certain data from your export by checking or unchecking them. You also have the possibility to add additional fields by using open field. Finally, you can choose the type of document to which you want to export. Filters: you have 7 filters at your disposal: Date range, Type of interest, Departments, Employees, Worker type, Companies and Function. You can use the filters to search for specific employees, for example.

Include dismissed: availabilities that were hidden from the overview, more on this in a moment.

Include conflicts: By default, employees with conflicts, e.g. scheduled on another shift, are excluded from the list. If you tick this box, they will still be included.

How do you now schedule employees via this page?
Next to each line in this overview you will find 2 icons:

These offer you the following possible actions:
Schedule: This plus sign immediately schedules the employee to the project for which he has made himself available.

Hide in overview: If you select this icon for an availability, it will no longer be shown in the overview. As mentioned before, you can always use the filter Include dismissed, to view all hidden availabilities.

CrewTip! When you have hidden an availability, the icon below will appear, with which you can immediately revoke it. Please note that this option disappears as soon as the page is reloaded.

However, if you do not see a plus sign but an exclamation mark, as below, it is not possible to schedule the employee:

The reason is given to you in a pop-up once you move your cursor over the icon.
Always up to date
As soon as new availabilities are entered while you are working on the page, a bar will appear at the top of the page with the number of new specified availabilities. This is reloaded every 10 seconds. When you click on this bar, the new availabilities will appear at the top.
