When do employees receive notifications in the app?
Employees receive notifications for new shifts, changes, deletions, and messages based on set triggers.
Updated over a year agoEmployees are notified within the CrewPlanner app and via push notifications or by email (if they are not logged in) based on various actions.Do note, these notifications are grouped to limit the number of notifications an employee receives, unless changes are made for projects taking place within 24 hours. Here is a detailed breakdown of the actions for which when notifications are sent:
New Projects
In addition to these standard notifications, you have the option to schedule an automated notification when you add new projects to your CrewPlanner agenda, employees receive a daily notification at the time you specify in your settings. They are informed about the newly created shifts and can share if they want to work these shifts or not by swiping in the app. The chosen notification time can be set in your SETTINGS, under the NOTIFICATIONS page.
Scheduled on a project
Scheduled for a shift TODAY: Notification is sent 5 minutes after scheduling.
Scheduled for a shift TOMORROW or later: Notification is sent 60 minutes after scheduling.
Scheduled for a shift TODAY: Notification is sent 5 minutes after scheduling.
Scheduled for a shift TOMORROW or later: Notification is sent 60 minutes after scheduling.
Adjustments to projects
Employees are notified of adjustments to project details that affect their scheduled shift. Changes include:
Project name
Project leader
Address
Attribute fields
Project timing
Shift timing
Adjustments to a scheduled shift TODAY: Notification is sent immediately.
Adjustments to a scheduled shift TOMORROW or later: Notification is sent immediately.
Project name

Deleted Shifts
When an employee is removed from a shift or a project is deleted:

Messages
Lastly, you can send messages or request availability from employees through CrewPlanner.
Messages sent via the agendo or employee page: Notification is sent immediately.
Request availability via the PROJECTS tab in the message module: Notification is sent immediately.
