The method for deleting a project depends on the type of project. You have several options for deleting a project, so follow the appropriate instructions based on the type of project you want to delete.

CrewTip! Once a project has been deleted, it cannot be recovered. However, you can find information on the deleted project in the activity log.

Attention! Agencies operating under Paritair Comité 322: If you make use of week contracts and a week contract has been identified and processed in a project, you will no longer be able to delete the project concerned.

When a project is not part of a recurring project or a work schedule, it is a standalone project and can easily be deleted as follows:

  • Access the edit page of the project:

  • Delete the project:
Scroll to the bottom of the edit project page, where you will find DELETE PROJECT.

  • Confirm:
When you select this a pop-up will appear, asking if you're sure you want to delete the project. Confirm to delete the project.

Delete a project which is part of a work schedule

If a project is part of a work schedule, the delete button will not be present and the project cannot be deleted as mentioned above. Instead, you must remove all shifts from this project.

To do so, you have two options:

  1. Delete shifts one-by-one:

    • If the project does not contain many shifts, this option is easiest. You navigate to the WORK SCHEDULES page and open the week overview of the work schedule. Here you delete all shifts of the day for which you want to delete the project, by selecting the bin icon in the top right corner of every shift. More information on removing shifts can be found here.

    • When all shifts have been deleted, this will automatically delete the project from the AGENDA.

  2. Delete shifts in bulk:

    • If a project contains a great number of shifts, you might opt for removing shifts in bulk. You can only do so by opening a day project of a work schedule, this via the week schedule overview on the WORK SCHEDULES page by selecting the eye icon next to the date of the project you want to remove, or via de AGENDA page.

    • Next you open the edit view by selecting the pencil icon on the top right.

    • Then you select all shifts but one and delete them using the bin icon in the bulk edit bar. One shift needs to remain since a project cannot exist without a shifts.

    • Finally, to delete the project, you navigate to the week overview of the work schedule and delete the last remaining shift as mentioned above.
